PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A Miami school sent lots of love to an elementary school right here in Bay County Wednesday.
Lehrman Community Day school students wrote a book after learning about Hurricane Michael.
They delivered copies of the book called "Sammy's Big Adventure" along with stuffed seagulls to Cedarfield Elementary School students.
Kindergarten through third grade received a copy of the book along with the stuffed animal.
Event Organizer Harriet Taylor, said, "The students there studied about, they did research on it and, about how animals adapt to hurricanes and how they have to move their homes like many of us had to do so it's a way of helping our students here at Cedargrove through the healing process."
Perry & Young assisted in making sure the school received the books.
