Good Monday morning everyone!
It's an active morning on radar with scattered showers and thunderstorms passing through the Panhandle along a stalled out front. We'll see this activity persist throughout the morning before the storms shift out to the east in the afternoon.
Temperatures are starting out pleasantly cool in the low to mid 60s. So a light rain jacket and an umbrella would be a good choice heading out this morning. We'll only warm up to near 70 this afternoon as the front slides to the east this afternoon, clouds and northerly winds will keep temperatures fairly stable throughout the day.
However, as the front slides out to the east, colder air will spill into the Panhandle over the next several days. We'll see temperatures drop into the 40s tomorrow morning with highs struggling to reach the low 60s.
High pressure builds in from the west reinforcing the cold northerly flow but also bringing us plenty of sunshine through the midweek. Morning lows will bottom out in the mid 30s through mid week with highs only reaching the 50s.
For today, mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers or thunderstorms passing through and wrapping up to the east in the afternoon. Highs today near 70°. Your 7 Day Forecast will bring in a lot of sunshine for the majority of the week ahead but also some colder temperatures especially through midweek.
