Monday Forecast

Good Monday morning everyone!

It's a relatively quiet start on radar, but you could see a light mist of spitting sprinkle possible this morning. Otherwise, fog will be an issue for some out the door this morning, patchy and dense.

Temperatures are fairly mild for most waking up in the mid 50s to near 60 on the coast. Another mild day shapes up over the Panhandle where temperatures push up into the low to mid 70s away from the coast and upper 60s on the coast. Southerly winds still act as a cooler breeze for the beaches with Gulf water temperatures in the low 60s.

A warm front has lifted north of our area and the southerly flow will also keep moisture and cloudiness around today. But we should be able to get some sunshine to peer through in the afternoon. The best lift lies to our north along the warm front, so we'll keep rain chances low with the small possibility of the spitting light shower.

Another cold front is on the way for tomorrow, however, and that looks to be a better shot at rain throughout the day. There's only a small chance we could see a strong thunderstorm develop as this front passes through where gusty winds would be our main concern. Otherwise, rain totals only appear to be around a quarter to a half inch. Temperatures will cool back down to the seasonal low to mid 60s through midweek.

Bottom Line...
For today, cloudy skies in the morning with a stray light sprinkle possible and some breaks in the clouds in the afternoon. Highs today will be mild in the low to mid 70s away from the coast, upper 60s for the beaches. Your 7 Day Forecast has better rain chances in store for tomorrow before we cool back down to the seasonal mid 60s through midweek.
