Good Monday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on radar this morning with just a few clouds cruising our skies early on today. We'll see a lot of sunshine grace our skies today so grab the shades before heading out!
Otherwise, it's a pleasant morning as we get started in the mid 60s. Sunshine warms us up nicely through the morning to some toasty temps this afternoon! Even the coast warms up efficiently as we'll start off the day with an offshore north wind that shifts gradually to the west in the mid afternoon. We'll see highs under abundant sunshine this afternoon pushing the low to mid 80s on the coast while inland highs near 90°!
The heat will stick around for the early part of this week as high pressure stacks up overhead in the atmosphere. That will also lead toward a quiet and sunny start to this week. The sunshine will push temperatures back up into the mid 80s on the coast to possibly low 90s inland tomorrow.
Eventually we'll see the ridge breakdown through the midweek, and we'll pick up a few afternoon spotty rain chances inland for Wednesday and Thursday. An approaching cold front by the end of the week could stall out and produce a few rounds of rain for Friday and the upcoming weekend.
For today, after a few morning clouds we'll have abundant sunshine. Highs today warm into the low to mid 80s on the coast to upper 80s inland. The warm and sunny weather continues for the start of this work week with toasty highs continuing tomorrow where areas away from the coast could reach the low 90s!
