Good Monday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on radar this morning with mainly clear skies. Other than a stray inland shower later this afternoon, we'll be pretty quiet in our skies today.
Temperatures out the door are in the mid 70s and fairly seasonable. We'll have some good July heat coming our way this afternoon and for much of this week. Highs push the low 90s this afternoon with feels like temps in the low triple digits.
Unfortunately, there won't be much rain developing in our afternoons as high pressure builds into the southeast keeping a lid on widespread afternoon storm chances. I do still expect to see a handful of scattered, spotty, inland afternoon showers or thunderstorms, and it'll come to those who get the hottest in the afternoon hours away from the coast.
With high pressure dominating our weather pattern through much of this week we won't have much more than these spotty and stray afternoon quick shower or thunderstorm chance away from the coast each day.
For today, mostly to partly sunny skies with a few spotty inland afternoon showers or thunderstorms. Highs today reach the low 90s on the coast to mid 90s inland with feels like temperatures closer to 100-105°. Your 7 Day Forecast keeps us hot, humid, and mostly to partly sunny through much of this week with a few inland spotty afternoon storms popping up each day at around a 20-30% chance.
