It's a quiet start on radar this morning despite a few mid to upper level clouds cruising through. We'll get away rain free for the morning commute. But the afternoon may require the umbrellas for scattered storms.
Otherwise, temperatures this morning are warm and humid in the upper 70s near 80 degrees. A Heat Advisory is in effect today until 6pm as highs reach the low 90s on the coast to mid 90s inland and the heat index rises to 105 to 110° this afternoon.
We'll hope the sea breeze can bring you an afternoon shower to help cool down. However, they'll be hit or miss through the afternoon, fading away into the evening.
High pressure is still in place in the upper levels locking us into the hot and humid pattern for the early week forecast. By midweek, we should see a weakness in the ridging and a better chance at showers and thunderstorms developing for Wednesday and Thursday to help keep us cooler.
