Good Monday morning everyone!
Meteorologist Ryan Michaels says we'll have mainly sunny skies in NWFL today.
It's a quiet start on radar this morning with just a few clouds cruising our skies, but not enough to block out our sunshine.
We have a cool start with many waking up in the low 50s to upper 40s this morning. That's fairly seasonal, but those getting going around or just before sunrise may want the light jackets. You won't need them past 9am as temperatures start to warm into the 60s. We'll have plenty of sunshine helping temperatures warm nicely to the upper 60s near 70° this afternoon. So even if you did need the jacket this morning, you likely won't need it for the afternoon.
A weak frontal boundary sits just off to our northwest, however, we won't have enough moisture in the atmosphere to kick up much more than a few clouds today as it moves in. And there's not much of a significant cool down behind the front either. However, our mornings stay cold as we'll return to the 40s tomorrow morning and highs may struggle to get past the upper 60s in the afternoon.
We'll be rebounding quickly past this front for the rest of the week as highs push into the low 70s through midweek and upper 70s by the week's end where we'll have our next front awaiting. We could finish off our Friday with a few showers and see a few linger into Saturday morning followed by a weak cool down into the weekend.
For today, mainly sunny skies with pleasant temperatures reaching the upper 60s to near 70° this afternoon. Your 7 Day Forecast has a little cool down into tomorrow, but a gradual warming trend through the week ahead.
