Good Monday morning everyone!
Meteorologist Ryan Michaels says we'll have rain chances each day this week.
It's been an active early morning on radar with mostly cloudy skies and a passing batch of showers heading northeast through the Panhandle. Early morning commuters especially east of Hwy231 will want to grab the umbrellas. Once this batch passes you by to the east, however, you'll more than likely be done with today's rain chance.
Otherwise, it's a mild start in the low 60s out the door this morning. Temperatures will slowly warm through the 60s this morning into the low 70s by lunchtime. Rain chances dwindle down to 10% by the afternoon today. However, we'll likely still have mostly cloudy skies in place. Yet with southerly flow, we'll still manage to have a mild day with highs topping out in the mid 70s.
In fact most of the early week forecast will feature a mild stretch with a chance for a scattered shower until a cold front moves in on Wednesday. That will bring rain chances up past a scattered chance to likely by the end of the day on Wednesday with much cooler temperatures for the rest of the week.
Highs on Wednesday only reach the low 60s and we'll dip into the upper 50s to low 60s for daytime highs through the rest of the work week. Rain chances will linger into the end of the week becoming likely by Friday once again as Wednesday's cold front spawns an area of low pressure out of the Gulf. That low will likely bring a soaking showers through the day Friday before we clear out into the upcoming weekend.
For today, mostly cloudy with morning showers east of Hwy231. Highs today reach the mid 70s. Your 7 Day forecast keeps the rain chances scattered through tomorrow with mild temperatures before we cool off into the midweek.
