Good Monday morning everyone!
It's a pretty quiet start on radar this morning, we have seen a few stray sprinkles underneath a mainly cloudy sky. Rain chances today will be fairly low, and hardly umbrella worthy.
Otherwise, it's comfortably cool outside largely in the 50s. With the lack of sunshine in the forecast for today, you'll still want a jacket. We will see a bit of a warm up in to the afternoon, and any little bit of sunshine we can get away with will help to shed that extra layer later today. Highs are expected to reach the low 70s this afternoon.
A warm front situated across the Northern Gulf Coast will keep nagging rain chances in the forecast early on this week. It will lift north heading into tomorrow and some more scattered showers will be a bit more possible tomorrow, as well as, a mild streak through the early week. Temperatures are looking to remain in the 70s through Wednesday.
A cold front sweeps in for the late week, bringing a more likely return of rain for Thursday. We'll see temperatures take a bit of a dip toward the week's end as well. Highs may struggle to reach 60 degrees Thursday through Saturday, with some chilly mornings in the 30s and 40s as well. And it looks like we'll be able to manage some sunshine returning to our skies by the late week and into the upcoming weekend.
For today, mainly cloudy skies with a 20% chance for a stray shower. Highs today reach the low 70s. Your 7 Day Forecast keeps nagging rain chances in the forecast through Wednesday, with the most likely chance of rain on Thursday, and a colder finish to the week.
