WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Leftover money from the Hotz Avenue Drainage Improvement Project will be redirected to the new Walton County Sports Complex.
$18,000 from the Hotz Avenue Drainage Improvement Project will be re-obligated to the Walton County Sports Complex. (WJHG/WECP)
The drainage project was finished under budget, so the money leftover will cover signage and improvements for the sports park, according to county officials.
"It's going to be a grand new park it needs a grand new entrance. And then they're also working on turf and flattening fields, you know, getting all the final touches on that sports complex," said Louis Svehla, PIO, Walton County Commission.
In total, $18,000 will be redirected to the sports complex.
