DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - On Monday, the City of DeFuniak Springs hired Carisse LeJeune to become their new Deputy City Manager.
The position was approved in 2019 by the City Council to help with the workload of the city manager position.
“Ms. LeJeune has over 18 years’ experience in city management in Florida,” City Manager Mell Smigielski said.“We are delighted to welcome her and her skills to our administrative team as we now face difficult challenges and rapid growth in our community. She will be an immense help in managing the day-to-day activities of the administrative office and with future planning of the City’s needs.”
