PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A local organization is starting a motorcycle ministry in Bay County. The Sabbath Keepers Motorcycle Ministry will be holding an event Saturday to spread the word.

Event organizers say there will be several motorcycles at their event. They'll also be handing out information about their organization and hold a service at the church. Event organizers say they're the only ministry of their kind on the east coast and their church is geared toward preaching the gospel of Jesus to people with different backgrounds.

"Got to spread the word and we found a way to spread the word on the motorcycle to other bikers, to veterans, to anybody that rides," said T.J. Williamson with the Sabbath Keepers Motorcycle Ministry.

Williamson said they'll be joined by the Northwest Arkansas Chapter of Sabbath Keepers Motorcycle Ministry. The event starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday. They're encouraging others to come out and wear their leathers.
