New local COVID-19 cases in Florida Department of Health update
The Florida Health Department of Health has released the latest coronavirus COVID-19 numbers for Monday.
Florida has 46,442 cases reported, 45,208 are Floridians and 1,234 are not Florida residents.
Health officials say 1,997 people have died from the virus in the state.
Bay County is reporting 85 cases. This includes 83 residents and two non-residents. Their ages range from 2 to 93 years-old. Three people have died from the virus and 13 people have been hospitalized.
Okaloosa County is reporting 178 cases. This includes 170 residents, one Floridian in another state, and seven non-residents. Their ages range from 0 to 96 years-old. Five people have died from the virus and 29 people have had to be hospitalized.
Walton County is reporting 81 cases. 68 of the cases are residents and 13 are not from Florida. Their ages range between 20 to 101 years-old. Three deaths from the virus has been reported and 14 people have had to be hospitalized.
Washington County is reporting 13 cases. All 13 are residents. Their ages range between 25 to 62 years-old. One person has been hospitalized and one person has died in the county.
Holmes County has 12 cases. All of the cases are residents and they range between 16 months and 84 years-old. There have been no deaths or hospitalizations in Holmes County reported.
Jackson County is reporting 131 cases. There are 127 local cases and four are non-Florida residents. The cases range from 4 to 82 years-old. Six people has been hospitalized and no deaths have been reported.
Calhoun County is reporting 41 cases, all are local. The ages range from 20 to 99 years-old. There has been one death reported. Officials say four have been hospitalized for the virus.
Gulf County is reporting one case, a local. The woman is 42 years-old. There have been no deaths or hospitalizations in Gulf County reported.
Franklin County is reporting two cases. Health officials say one person is a 25 year-old woman from New York and the other is a 60 year-old woman who is a resident.
Liberty County is reporting 199 cases of COVID-19. All 199 are residents. The ages range from 20 to 73 years-old. No one has been hospitalized from the virus in this county.
