Niceville High School evacuated after email threat

NICEVILLE, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Students were evacuated from Niceville High School after a threat was emailed about toxic chemicals inside the school.

Okaloosa County Sheriff's Deputies sat School Resource Officers and school administrators moved the students to the football stadium Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies say the email threat is believed to be from another country and came in around 1:30 p.m.

The Niceville and North Bay Fire Departments conducted air quality checks in buildings across the campus but nothing unusual was found.
