AAA - If you thought gas prices over the Labor Day Weekend were expensive, it could get worse thanks to Tropical Storm Gordon.

According to AAA, so far, the storm has not affected gas prices. That could change though if refineries suffer damage or go offline. Refineries in Louisiana and Mississippi are making preparations for the storm.

The most expensive gas price averages in Florida are in West Palm Beach-Boca Raton ($2.89), Miami ($2.83), and Panama City ($2.83). The least expensive gas price averages are in Punta Gorda ($2.74), Jacksonville ($2.76), and Tallahassee ($2.76)

As of Tuesday morning, no refineries, oil rigs, or platforms were shut down. But if there are any outages, you can expect a spike at the pump.
