UPDATE 12/23/2019 12:19 p.m.:

We're learning more about the shooting that left one person dead and another hurt in Apalachicola.

Apalachicola Police tell us the name of the man killed was Keenan Turrell and the man injured is Albert "Sonny" Turrell. They say Sonny Turrell was shot but his wound is not life-threatening.

As of now, police do not have a motive for the shooting.

Michael Baucham has been charged with homicide by firearm, attempted murder, and discharging a firearm.

One man is arrested after killing one victim and wounding another in Apalachicola.

Officials say dispatch received a call around 9:00 pm Sunday night regarding a shooting at 303 23rd Street. Franklin County Sheriff’s Office deputies and the Apalachicola Police Department responded.

They also say the suspect, Michael Baucham, shot and killed one victim and wounded a second. Baucham then ran off on foot and was later seen driving a black Mazda.

Sheriff Smith, Lt. Hamm, and Apalachicola Police officers received information on Baucham's location and conducted a traffic stop, leading to his arrest.
