One new COVID-19 death in Bay County, three cases connected to County correctional facilities

The Florida Department of Health in Bay County released a COVID-19 update for Thursday, June 4.

Health officials say a 57-year-old Bay County man diagnosed with COVID-19 died on June 2. This brings the total number of deaths in Bay County to four.

The latest update announced seven new COVID-19 cases, including a 58-year-old man, a 29-year-old man, a 40-year-old man, a 24-year-old woman, a 21-year-old woman, a 33-year-old man, and a 49-year-old man.

Health Officials say there are 111 total COVID-19 cases confirmed in Bay County. Three cases are connected to correctional facilities and seven are connected to long-term care facilities.

Of the 111 cases, 108 are Bay County Residents.

Health Officals say there are 69 cases in Panama City, 19 cases in Panama City Beach, 10 cases in Lynn Haven, three cases in Youngstown, three cases in Callaway, one case in Southport, one case in Parker, one case at Tyndall Air Force Base, and one case without an address.
