One person shot in Panama City Beach

UPDATE: 12/30/19

The Bay County Sheriff's Office identified the victim as Edward Kenneth Ross, 30.

The Bay County Sheriff's Office is working a homicide at a residence in the 6400 block of Sunset Drive in Panama City Beach.

According to officials, the victim is male. His name has not been released at this time.

They say according to witnesses, three black males knocked on the door of the victim's home. When the door was answered, they asked for the victim. They were told he was unavailable, and the door was shut.

Deputies say the three males then pushed open the door, entered the home, and shot the victim multiple times.

They say one of the suspects is about 5'6" and the other two were taller.

Bay County Sheriff's Officials say one person was shot Sunday evening near a home at the intersection of Quarts street and Sunset Drive in Panama City Beach.

Officials could not tell us the status of the victim.

Officials have also not responded to our questions about potential suspects.
