Panama City Police searching for suspect in shooting investigation

Panama City police say one person was shot Friday night at Oakland Terrace Park (MGN).

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - UPDATE: August 10, 2019, 2:30 p.m.

On Friday, Panama City Police say they responded to a shooting in Oakland Terrace Park. They also say a juvenile victim was struck in the neck and taken to the hospital. His injury was non-life threatening.

Officials say they've identified a suspect as Isaiah J. Pierre, 17, who "fled the scene prior to officers arriving."

According to the press release, this is an ongoing investigation and arrest warrants have been issued for Pierre. Officials say they will be charging him with attempted murder.
