Paige Anderson is this week's 850Strong Student of the Week

Paige Anderson is a busy 10th grader at Arnold High School.

She is a member of SGA, HOSA, JROTC, and the girl's weightlifting team.

This year was her first year on the team, and she won 1st place in the district championship.

"It felt amazing, I felt like all my hard work really paid off and that like I can do anything because this sport is usually known as like a guy sport and like to have all these girls there doing the same thing and having so much achievement in this area, made me feel so good about myself," Paige said.

Paige is also very active in the community. She volunteered after Hurricane Michael handing out food, water, and clothes to those in need.

Paige says it''s things like helping those in need that makes our community 850Strong.

"Honestly I think that 850Strong means to me that we are all in this together, right? Because something happened to all of us and we all came together to solve that problem and help others in need and I think it's like a great thing that we are doing," Paige said.

Paige's desire to work hard, help others, and bring the community together is what makes her this week's 850Strong Student of the Week.
