The turf is now down on all of the fields and paving will start the beginning of next week.
But some of the costs have gone up to get the park game day ready due to the cost of labor after Hurricane Michael is increasing. However, revenue is expected to increase.
"So at the end of the day the Sports Park is growing and we really do look forward to, you know, getting it up and operational and then really making it a game changer for Panama City Beach," said the President of the Bay County Tourist Development Council, Dan Rowe.
So far officials say there are 47 events planned from July 2019 to July 2020.
