Panama City Beach council members pass Second Amendment resolution

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Panama City Beach is joining many cities across the country by publicly announcing its support of the Second Amendment.

At Thursday's City Council meeting, council members agreed on a resolution showing support of Second Amendment rights.

Councilman Geoff McConnell said it's important that state and federal officials recognize the rights of citizens and not take them away without consideration of this new resolution.
