Panama City Beach man arrested after reportedly leaving dog in hot car

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A Panama City Beach man is behind bars after allegedly leaving his dog in a hot car.

According to Panama City Beach Police they arrested Mark Janiewicz, 25, Wednesday after they say he left his dog in his car without water.

Police say when they found the dog it drank three and half 12-ounce bottles of water and the temperature where it was sitting was more than 100 degrees.

Janiewicz was arrested and charged with animal abandonment.
