PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - It was an emotional ceremony at Panama City City Hall as the city and the Sea Cadets of North Bay Haven Charter Academy rose the flag to half staff on the 18th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Remarks were made by City Manager Mark McQueen, as well as Florida's State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis. The event was attended by a number of first responders, on a day honoring their sacrifices.
Over 300 firefighters alone died on 9/11, and countless other first responders as a direct result of their service on that day.
