One intersection in Panama City will be permanently closed this week.

Florida Department of Transportation officials say as part of the Highway 390 Widening Project, the intersection at West 27th Street and Highway 390 will be permanently closed Tuesday.

Officials say the closure is needed for the widening project. They say drivers will be able to access Highway 390 by using the signal at Lisenby Avenue.
