Panama City looking to hire more than 50 positions

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Many hopeful job-seekers attended the City of Panama City job fair on Tuesday

The city is looking to fill more than 50 jobs in a variety of different departments, including solid waste, public works, police, and more.
Officials with the city say they had a good turn out for the fair, with a few dozen people attending.

If you were unable to attend, you can still apply for the various jobs.

"All of our jobs are posted online, they can just go to the city website, which is, and there's a place they can search for all the current openings and then just apply online at the comfort of their house," Director of Human Resources for the City of Panama City, Cheryl Furr said.
