Panama City police looking for robbery suspect

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Local police are asking the public for assistance in finding a robbery suspect they say is armed and dangerous.

According to the Panama City Police Department, officers responded to reports of a home invasion robbery on Friday, February 1. The suspect, who is known by the victim, was identified as Ivan Ferrer-Perdomo. The victim says Ferrer-Perdomo entered through an unlocked window, tied the victim up, and then committed the robbery. He then fled the scene with the victim's vehicle.

That vehicle was recovered shortly afterward near the intersection of Business Highway 98 and East Avenue.

Now Panama City police are asking for the public's assistance in finding Ferrer-Perdomo.

Officials say he has ties to Bay County and Miami and is considered armed and dangerous.
