With a major pandemic comes major need. The Panhandle Animal Welfare Society or PAWS is in need of lots of supplies as the season for kittens and puppies begins very soon, and some pet supplies have become scarce.

"We need wet canned food for the animals. We need puppy and kitten formula because we are getting into puppy and kitten season. We'll be receiving hundreds of those animals. One of the biggest needs we have right now would be water tight shipping containers to store the dry food in to make sure that it stays safe," said fundraising events and volunteer coordinator for PAWS, Lorraine Whetstone.

Whetstone also says that if you are needing supplies for your pets, PAWS will bring what they can to you.
