"Pier Park Ball Drop"

5:30 pm - LIVE MUSIC: Barry Fish Band

8:00 pm - Kids' Beach Ball Drop: 10,000 Beach Balls drop down from nets above Pier Park Drive

"Celebrate Twice"

The town of Mexico Beach and its neighboring town of Port St. Joe share a time zone border, giving visitors and locals alike the opportunity to count down to 2017 in the Eastern time zone in Port St. Joe and then take a free trolley just 20 minutes west to Mexico Beach and do it all over again in the Central time zone. The nine free shuttles will run from 7:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. CST, stopping at six participating restaurants and bars in each town. These venues will offer live entertainment, cool drinks, and Gulf views as patrons ring in the new year-twice in one night.


"Baytowne Countdown"

For those staying in Miramar Beach, consider catching the Village of Baytowne Wharf end-of-the year celebration. Dance the night away and enjoy breathtaking fireworks at midnight. Restaurants throughout the Village will feature drink specials and live music and guests may enjoy live entertainment at the Events Plaza until 1 a.m. All ages welcome until 10 p.m.; 21 and over after 10 p.m. (20 and under must be accompanied by a legal guardian after 10 p.m.) For more info call (850) 267-8110.

"Countdown Seaside"

For those staying along Scenic Hwy 30A, Countdown Seaside is a great place to close out the year. The family-friendly event features live music from 6 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Held in Seaside amphitheater, entertainment includes kids activities, street performers and fireworks at midnight.


"New Year's Eve Street Party at HarborWalk Village"

Enjoy live music in restaurants throughout HarborWalk Village as well as at the HarborWalk Village Main Stage. Families will enjoy the early fireworks show at 8 p.m., and adults will enjoy sticking around for the 8th Annual Ball drop over the Destin Harbor and fireworks display at midnight.

"SunQuest Cruises New Year’s Eve Cruise"

Enjoy the elegant fusion of a luxurious yacht, ambiance, romance and entertainment on SunQuest Cruises annual New Year’s Eve Fireworks, Dinner and Dancing Cruise on December 31, 2015 from 8 pm – 12:30 am.
