PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A pedestrian is dead after a hit-and-run crash in Panama City Beach Tuesday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the South Florida man was standing in the northbound lane of Tarpon Street when a vehicle making a left turn from Surf Drive hit him. The driver then left the scene. The vehicle is described as a dark-colored sedan.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, and officials have yet to release his name.
