The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is shifting eastbound U.S. 98 traffic to the 23rd Street Flyover during the first weekend of April.

FDOT says crews will start preparations Friday, April 3, during nighttime hours and work throughout the weekend until the shift is complete.

Message boards and traffic control officers will be on site throughout the weekend.

Drivers should expect intermittent lane shifts and slowdowns.
