The Bay County Sheriff's Office released a video Tuesday of a possible person of interest in the homicide of Panama City Beach resident Edward Ross.

Ross was shot and killed at his residence on the 6400 block of Sunset Drive in Panama City Beach on December 29.

Sheriff's officials say witnesses told them three black males knocked on Ross' door and were told he was unavailable. They say the three men pushed their way in and shot Ross multiple times.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cpl. Brent Roberts at the Bay County Sheriff's Office at 850-747-4700 or Crime Stoppers at 785-TIPS. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

"As in every homicide investigation, we have not released every detail in the homicide of Edward Ross. By holding back, we can validate the authenticity of tips received.

"Mr. Ross knew a lot of people and was well-liked, but the large number of people he interacted with means many to interview and a lot of information to follow up on. We will not release our progress daily, but when appropriate, we will.

"We remain committed to solving the homicide of Edward Ross, no matter how complicated the case, or how long it takes."
