Possible tornado damaged parts of Okaloosa Correctional Institution

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - According to a Facebook post from the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, a possible tornado damaged the chow hall building and outer perimeter fence at the Okaloosa Correctional Institution work camp Monday night.

No injuries to inmates or OCI have been reported. Deputies say they assisted in outer security while inmates were being transported to another facility.

Meteorologists at the National Weather Service in Mobile say they're looking into this report since not much showed up on radar to support the damage.
