PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Reny Jose disappeared in March of 2014 while staying in a Panama City Beach home he was renting with other students, now after six years, his family says they want some closure.
Officials with the Bay County Sheriff's Office say the case is still open but there are no new leads at this time.
They do say if anyone has any information on Reny's disappearance no matter how small, to call local law enforcement as they are always looking for tips and leads.
Reny's mother Sherly Jose says they just want their son to come home.
"To tell you the truth I'm just praying he would be found and hoping he is going to come home soon,” said Sherly. “That's what I'm hoping for but I don't know."
Reny's missing person billboard on Highway 79 is still up for drivers to see as they pass by.
