WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - If you're looking for a way to give back this holiday season, you can help the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Sonder Project bring Christmas back to those affected by Hurricane Michael.

The organizations have asked families in Bay County to submit their Christmas wish lists and are now working on collecting those items by donations.

If you'd like to help, head to the chamber's website linked on this page, pick a family and wish-list item to buy, and bring it to an upcoming chamber event or ship it to the Sonder Project office located at 790 N. Co. Hwy 393 Bldg. B Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.

"This Friday we have a First Friday Breakfast in Defuniak at Tropicana Club and we have our holiday Power of Networking Lunch next Wednesday at the Beach House so we're asking our members to get one of those items, bring it to an event and we'll make sure that the Sonder Project gets that," Walton Area Chamber Community and Special Events Manager Gabrielle Kilgore-Woods said.
