PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Some local kids won't have to wake up to empty stockings this Christmas morning.
Every year, the Salvation Army's Empty Stocking Fund helps parents living in poverty give their kids gifts on Christmas.
And this year, they're getting a little help of their own from Sharky's. The local restaurant donated all of its proceeds from last Thursday to the fund to help locals impacted by Hurricane Michael.
All in all, they handed over more than $10,000.
