PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - One marina in Panama City is open for fishing.
According to Panama City officials the St. Andrews marina is partially open.
They say there are commercial vessels still docked and locals can fish off the bay side of the marina during daylight hours.
Officials say they want residents to still be able to use some of the facilities despite some of the damage.
Mark McQueen, the City Manager for Panama City said, "We're glad that they can come down and enjoy a little bit of the marina. It's a difficult situation that we're all in right now but we didn't want to close out all of the opportunities for people to use our marinas."
Officials say the Panama City marina is not open to the public because it's too dangerous from all the damage
