Stolen truck at Tom Thumb in Fort Walton Beach

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A Fort Walton Beach man watched from inside a Tom Thumb as his truck was stolen.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, the event happened around 6:30 a.m. Saturday. The owner of a 1994 blue Chevy pickup left his car parked at a gas pump at the Tom Thumb on Highway 98 west of Mary Esther.

After entering the Tom Thumb, he watched as someone climbed into his vehicle and sped away.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office describes the suspect as a light skinned black male with long hair in a bun.
