LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Several kids from across the Bay School District served bowls of soup to help fight hunger in the community.

At the Empty Bowl Fundraiser at Bay High School, people from the community were able to enjoy chili, gumbo, and all kinds of soup made by more than 20 restaurants and many schools in the area.

Bay District Schools students made bowls and flower pots which could be purchased with a donation.

The proceeds will go toward buying trolley passes to help Hurricane Michael victims get around town.
