A suspected burglar has been arrested after allegedly burglarizing a Speed Track store in Jackson County.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, the store manager at the Speed Track store on Caverns Road contacted law enforcement about a burglary at his store. The manager told deputies when he arrived at the store that morning, the door had been unlocked with a key and the store's security alarm had been turned off.
Upon viewing security footage, the manager identified the suspect as a former employee of the store.
Deputies interviewed the suspect, identified as Thomas Pilgrim, and say Pilgrim admitted to burglarizing the store. He has been arrested and taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility.
