Flights resume at Pensacola Airport after suspicious package investigated

Update: Pensacola Police say flights have resumed at the Pensacola International Airport after the "all clear" was given for the suspicious package investigation.

According to a tweet from the Pensacola Police, a checked bag at the Pensacola Airport contained a suspicious item.

Pensacola Police Department Spokesman Mike Wood says a bomb squad from Bay County is on the way to assist.

All inbound and outbound flights have been stopped at this time.
