Good Friday morning everyone!
It's a cloudy start on satellite this morning with still some passing patches of light showers moving through after some good storms passed through last night. Some may have picked up close to an inch of rain while most saw around a half inch. We'll still have a small chance for some post frontal light showers or sprinkles to pass through today. But they'll be hardly umbrella worthy if you happen to catch one.
Otherwise, temperatures outside are pleasant right now in the mid to upper 60s. However, it'll stay steady in those 60s through the morning commute...and through the day ahead. In fact, many of us this morning will be at our day's high temperature, and some of us may even cool down heading into the afternoon! Clouds will likely remain thick in our skies today, a few breaks in the clouds are possible and should be considered once again a bonus.
Northerly winds will continue to draw in a drier and slightly cooler air mass under the cloudy skies today. So go ahead and grab a light jacket as it'll likely feel a bit cooler as the afternoon rolls around and the humidity falls out. If you've got any evening plans, go ahead and dress a little warmer as temperatures will fall into the 50s through the evening, while overnight lows reach the 40s just about panhandle-wide.
The weekend will be filled with sunshine but staying cool as highs only reach the mid to upper 60s on Saturday to near 70 on Sunday after both mornings start out in the 40s!
For today, cloudy skies with a cool feel as humidity falls in a light northerly breeze and temperatures remain rather steady in the mid 60s throughout the day. Your 7 Day Forecast brings in a lot of sunshine for the weekend, as well as, seasonally chilly air especially for the mornings!
