Teen Miss Northwest Florida shares experience at latest competition

NORTHWEST, Fla. (WJHG) - Some area royalty joined us in the studio to share their experience at their latest competition.

She recently competed in Florida's Outstanding Teen Competition and was named fourth runner up. (Nancy Tilghman)

Isabella Dickens is going into the 5th grade at North Bay Haven Elementary. She is the 2019 Little Miss Northwest Florida. While pursuing the title, Bella advocated for autism awareness and the Ronald McDonald House Charities. She has now fostered a partnership with The Lucky Puppy Rescue and plans to hold a drive for their much-needed supplies later in the fall.

Ruby Tilghman, Teen Miss Northwest Florida, is a 10th grader at North Bay Haven. She recently competed in Florida's Outstanding Teen Competition as part of the Miss America Organization. Ruby was named as 4th runner up in the 2019 competition. She was recognized for her work with her non-profit Many Mini Musicians.
