Panama City Beach Police officials say a Tennessee woman died Friday evening after officers pulled her from the water.

Officials say officers responded to a call at the Edgewater Beach Resort around 6:30 p.m. Friday. They say 62-year-old Sherri Krider, of Parsons, Tennessee, was pulled from the water there.

CPR was performed but Krider was pronounced dead on scene. Officials say it is unknown if the incident is medical-related or a drowning.

Officials say "Krider was turned over to the District 14 Medical Examiners Office to determine a cause of death."
