One local business owner is doing his part to give back on Memorial Day.

Tim Jacobi, the owner of the Angry Tuna in Pier Park, is donating 10% of Monday's business to Warrior Beach Retreat.

Jacobi's old friend, Linda Cope, helped start the foundation after her son lost his legs in Baghdad 14 years ago.

“It's Memorial Day, and I come from a military family, so I wanted to give back. Having met Linda, she goes to my church. It's just a really good connection. She's such a wonderful person. I wanted to do that,” said Jacobi.

Jacobi says he loves the organization because they invite wounded warriors from all over to come and spend some time on the world's most beautiful beaches in Panama City Beach, something he says they deserve.
