The Walton County Department of Health announces new clinic hours and operations

DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. (WJHG/WECP ) - The Walton County Health Department Clinics and the Walton Community Health Center are adjusting their operations to help with the COVID-19 outbreak.

Health officials say the changes include screening people entering their facilities. Other changes include delivering services by phone to follow social distancing recommendations. They also say they have added extra procedures in their clinic areas to protect patients and staff.

There are new hours for certain clinic locations.

The Paxton Clinic location will be open one day per week from 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM until further notice. To find out available days call 850-892-8015.

The Coastal Clinic location will provide Family Planning, Prenatal, STD, and Immunization services only Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM.

The DeFuniak Springs Clinic location will provide Essential Primary Care, Family planning, STD, and Immunization services from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
