PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Bay County Sheriff's Deputies say around 5:11 a.m. Friday, they responded to Banyan Street after a report of the theft of a motorcycle.
Deputies say the victim said two white males and a woman named Amber were the suspects. The victim told deputies they were driving a red Dodge truck with a black and green 2015 Honda Grom in the back driving east on North Lagoon, Panama City Beach.
Deputies say the victim told them he met the woman, Amber, the night before at a party and invited her to his house. He told deputies when came to his house she brought two white males with her. He said they talked for a while before the two men went outside.
The victim told deputies when he was talking with Amber inside he heard a tailgate shutting outside. He said he ran out and saw the two men had loaded his motorcycle in their truck.
The victim told deputies when he demanded they give him his motorcycle, one of the men pulled out a machete and the other took out a pocket razor knife.
Deputies say the victim then told them the men demanded he give them his cell phone.
Deputies say the three suspects then drove off in the red truck and a witness saw the truck leaving the scene.
According to deputies, the vehicle was quickly stopped on 15th Street, near the Econolodge.
Deputies identified the two men as Quinn Martin, 41, and Joshua Dooley, 29. They say the woman initially giving a false name but was positively identified as Amber McCall, 21.
Deputies say Martin gave consent to search the red truck. Deputies say they found the victim's cell phone and wallet, a machete, and a pocket razor knife in the truck. They say they also found a bag with three used syringes with a liquid that field tested positive for meth.
Deputies interviewed the three suspects and say the two men told them they took the motorcycle as a prank. In the interview deputies say Dooley admitted that Martin held the machete and he held the knife.
Joshua Dooley and Quinn Martin were arrested and charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle and home invasion robbery.
Amber McCall was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, principal to grand theft of a motor vehicle, principal to home invasion armed robbery, and providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
All three were booked into the Bay County Jail.
