Two facing charges after Jackson County burglary

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) Two people are facing multiple charges after an apparent burglary in Jackson County.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Ricky Martin went by a family's home on Reddoch Road Wednesday to check on it.

When Martin arrived, he noticed a man and woman walking away from the home heading east on Reddoch Road.

Officials say he then walked to the back of the home and found a suspicious car and the back door of the home forced open.

He then called the Jackson County Sheriff's Office. When deputies arrived, they requested assistance from the Department of Corrections canine tracking unit. They were able to track the subjects to a wooded area near the home where they were taken into custody.

They were both taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility.
