BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Three people are in serious condition after a crash in Bay County Monday afternoon.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Pamela Edwards, 38, was waiting to turn left from Highway 231 onto County Road 390 at around 3:45 p.m.
Edwards didn't see another car that was also turning when she hit it. After the crash, troopers say Edwards drove off the road and hit a traffic control box.
The traffic signals at the intersection then stopped working.
Edwards and her 73-year-old and 19-year-old passengers were all taken to local hospitals with serious injuries. Edwards faces charges of violation of the right of way.
