Good Thursday morning everyone!
It's a little bit of an unsettled start as we have some passing showers moving through. We'll have just a small 10-20% chance at a brief light shower through the rest of the day.
Otherwise, it's cloudy and mild with most starting out in the mid 60s. Highs today once again push into the low 70s in the afternoon after this first wave of scattered light showers pass through.
The first round of rain is developing off our stalled out frontal boundary, the second wave of rain sits back to the west with the approaching area of low pressure and cold front. We'll see both of these features start to move in tonight with the cold front passing through the Panhandle tomorrow morning. Rain chances will be likely after midnight tonight and through much of the morning tomorrow as the front slides through. About half an inch to an inch of rain is expected.
We'll also notice our winds ramping up along and behind this front from the west tomorrow ushering in colder conditions. In fact, tomorrow may be one of those reverse temperature days where we start off the morning with the mild conditions in the upper 60s and see temperatures drop throughout the day, finishing off the afternoon in the low 60s.
For today, cloudy skies with some passing showers in the morning. Highs today reach the low 70s. Your 7 Day Forecast has rain likely in the forecast for tomorrow morning before a colder breeze takes temperatures down throughout the day.
